Creating a censorship-free internet on blockchain

When the internet went from being a commodity to a basic human need, centralized information silos became a threat to the very liberties they promised. The consequences, according to this new video by our portfolio company, Inkrypt, has made us vulnerable to the stoppage of information flow—a topic I discuss in depth with co-founder Ali Chauhary—and privacy violations such as data hacking. In fact, every co-founder of the organization grew up in countries in which freedom of speech was restricted (or outlawed) and the news was state-run.
Watch below to see why Inkrypt is attempting to make the internet censorship-proof. The people behind this effort understand what it’s like when disinformation runs rampant and basic freedoms are denied.
